Hexamethyldisilazane is a kind of primary silazane compound grafted from trimethyl chlorosilane by ammonia under certain conditions. It is mainly used for methyl silylation (amikacin, penicillin, cephalosporin, fluorouracil and various penicillin derivatives) and antibiotic hydroxyl protectant in pharmaceutical biosynthesis. It is also used for surface treatment of diatomite,white carbon black(Silica), titanium powder, binding aids of photoresist in semiconductor industry and vinyl Silicone rubber tear strength treatment, silica(white carbon black) water repellent agent. Laboratory evaluation shows that the product is stable in general storage conditions ranging from - 50 ~45 C. It is not allowed to contact with open fire, water, humidity, acid and alkali and strong oxidant during storage. It should be kept ventilated, dry and cool to prevent sunlight exposure. The original package shall not be sealed within the prescribed temperature, and the storage period shall be one year from the date of production. After the storage period,re-inspection shall be carried out and all the indicators are qualified before use.
